Our Summer Staff

Our Summer Staff at CCPAC is a dedicated and enthusiastic team committed to making this season fun, safe, and memorable for all our dancers. From teaching classes, helping with events, working camps, and daily operations, they bring energy, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children. We’re so grateful for their support and can’t wait for you to get to know them!

Miss Lêanne - Studio Manager & Dance Teacher

Lêanne is an incredibly passionate dancer and teacher. She graduated from CCPAC in 2023 and has returned every summer since then to work with the families at Creative Connexions. Lêanne has been dancing for over 12 years, 9 of those years competitively, and has accumulated much experience. She has experience in several genres, including Acro, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. Lêanne has completed her Acrobatic Arts exams up to level 8 with Distinction, and her Ballet Cechetti exams 1 and 2 with training up to level 6. Throughout the years she competed, Lêanne received many awards, including a National Title at the Shine National Dance Competition for her Acro Solo.

Lêanne loves working with kids and has experience working with kids of all ages, working at summer camps, in-school placements, and tutoring. She is currently pursuing her studies at Nipissing University in the Concurrent BA and BEd program with a major in English and a minor in French, aiming to become a teacher. When she isn’t at the studio, you can find Lêanne curled up in her bed with a good book!

Miss Emma - Dance Teacher & Camp Counsellor

Miss Emma has been a training dancer for over 10 years now, training in many different styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, and Tap. She attended Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, her art focus being Dance. During that time, she trained in competitive dance where she attended many competitions in many genres.

Post graduation, she studied at a contemporary dance college - Dance Arts Institute - for one year. Emma then spent six months living in New York City where she trained at Steps On Broadway in their Independent Study Program. At Steps, she trained for over 50 hours a week in any style from Advanced Ballet to Heels.

As for teaching, she loved to work with younger children. During high school, she briefly volunteered with Girls INC at a summer camp where herself and a fellow volunteer taught a group of kids warm up and stretch, as well as a short Jazz combination.

Emma is most advanced in Contemporary and Jazz, however, loves to find herself teaching any and all genres!

Miss Danielle - Dance Teacher

Danielle Smith is a Toronto/Durham based dancer. She began her dance training at a prominently ballet focused studio, and throughout the years has expanded her dance vocabulary through various dance genres and has recently graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Performance Dance program. She now primarily focuses on contemporary movement practice, as a choreographer and performer.

She has worked with notable dance artists such as Hanna Kiel, Bobbi Jean Smith, and Or Schraiber Fall for Dance North, Alyssa Martin Rock Bottom Movement, Aria Evans, Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbek Pro Arte Danza, and Stephanie Lake Company. Danielle considers herself a multi disciplined artist.

Aside from her dance practice, she works as an actor/model, and can be seen in advertisements for companies such as Softmoc, Party City, Chevrolet Canada, The Source, and most recently has had a lead role in a Hallmark mystery movie. Danielle uses her experiences in other practices to broader her understanding of art and movement, and strives to challenge her students to take risks in order to reach their fullest potential.

Miss Moriah - Camp Counsellor

Miss Moriah has recently graduated from Pickering High School and will be attending Ontario Tech University in September 2025 for Concurrent Education. She has been dancing for 13 years and it has been a huge part of her life. Dance has always been a way for her to express herself and connect with others, and to Moriah, there is no better feeling than being able to tell a story through movement.

Moriah is very family-oriented and a creative person, she likes to bring these values into everything she does. Whether she is choreographing, performing, or working with kids, she always tries to create a positive, supportive environment. Moriah has a real passion for helping others grow, and she is excited to learning and sharing that passion through both dance and teaching.

Miss Alix - Dance Teacher

Miss Alix is a dance teacher, choreographer, and certified adjudicator from Toronto, ON. Growing up in Pickering, Ontario, she trained as a competitive dancer for 15 years. She gained experience in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Character Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, Open and Lyrical, and completed her B.A.T.D. Associate exams in Ballet/Pointe and Stage. She’s attended many conventions, workshops, and additional classes in the GTA to help expand her knowledge of movement in the industry and develop her personal style of dancing and teaching.

As a dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer, she now has over 24 years combined of experience. As a previous competitive tap dancer, she completed her examinations and finished within the top ten tappers in Canada, through the B.A.T.D. syllabus. From there, she attended the International University Global Theatre Experience (I.U.G.T.E.) Conference in Carrara, Italy, where she was the youngest participant, and the only Canadian. At this conference, she was able to network with various international Artists and creators, while learning about differences and innovations in the European arts industry.

Recently, her choreography was featured in LOCKLYN’s music video “90’s Love,” an upcoming artist from Toronto. She is now a proud member of the Professional Adjudicator Alliance (P.A.A.) and hopes to continue sharing her passion and inspire others to get up and create.

Miss T-kheya - Dance Teacher

Miss T-kheya has always had a strong passion for dance! From the age of 2, she discovered her rhythm for music. From then on, she got professional training in Hip Hop and was on the competitive team for a few years at a previous studio. She continued training in Hip Hop and opened her interest in Tap! She is self taught and eventually took professional classes to strengthen her love of tap.

All 4 years of high school, she took dance as a subject and also got intense training in Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Hip Hop. She also got the chance to run the Hip Hop club in elementary and high school, even competing against other schools!

T-kheya is working on improving as a teacher and choreographer. Learning everyday and making sure she has a safe space for her students.
